IT’S TIME TO VOTE!

Dear %%FirstName%%, 

When thinking about what to share with you this week, our upcoming elections are first and foremost in my mind. As patriots and believers, it is imperative that we take the time to research, pray and VOTE. 

If you have not already been able to take advantage of early voting in your state, I implore you to GET OUT NEXT TUESDAY AND VOTE. Candidates who stand for biblical values and our constitutional foundation are the ones for whom I am casting my ballot.

On tonight’s program, we have three regular guests: Hank Kunneman, Lance Wallnau and John Graves, along with newcomer Bunni Pounds. 

Pounds is founder of Christians Engaged, whose mission is to awaken, motivate, educate and empower ordinary believers in Jesus Christ to pray, vote and engage. I look forward to dialoguing with her about her organization and what she is seeing.

What else will we be talking about? 

• With only one week left until these consequential midterms, former President Obama has been making the rounds to try to shore up the Democrat vote…but where is Joe Biden?
• Tonight we will also discuss the Elon Musk purchase of Twitter, and the immediate reactions and changes.
• We will also discuss this week’s arrest of Gregg Phillips and Catherine Engelbrecht from True The Vote, and what that could mean regarding the fight for election integrity.
• Finally, we will take a look at the recent election in Brazil and the strong similarities it has to the 2020 election in our country.

And on Thursday, I look forward to sharing an interview with Penny Nance. Nance is the founder of Concerned Women for America, an organization that is leading a movement to impact the culture for Christ through education and public policy. We got to talk with her during the She Prays She Votes bus tour.

PRAYER POINTS

This week, I want to share with you a prayer that the VICTORY Channel founder, Kenneth Copeland, shared at Eagle Mountain International Church. As he shared:

You have to pray for those [elected] in this nation. Pray every day that God opens the eyes of their understanding and floods their hearts with light, so that they come to the knowledge of the truth that there is one God and one mediator between God and man—the Man Christ Jesus, who gave His life as a ransom for all, to be testified of in due time.

Prayer of Agreement

God in heaven, we stand before Your throne of grace, on the blood of Jesus and in His Name. We ask You to forgive this nation, for most of them have no idea what they’re doing. Those who are in authority, forgive them. Forgive our president and vice president, forgive every member of the senate, every member of the house, every governor of every state…every judge. 

Forgive us all in the Name and in the power of that Name. And we pray now about this coming election: We ask You to watch over it carefully. According to what is written in 1 Peter 5:6-7, we humble ourselves and cast the whole of this care over on You because we know that You care for this nation. It belongs to You. It was given to You….

We ask You to remove—in this coming election—from office, those who are in the way, those who are still trying to abort children, those who are in favor of mutilating their little bodies. Put this nation aright again. Your perfect will be done on earth, in the UNITED States. 

We are coming together, and we praise You and bless You for it. And this we pray in the Name that’s above every name that’s named — the matchless Name of Jesus.
