Over the past two weeks, we’ve seen horrific images of war in Israel. What strikes me as much as the horrible images is how much deception there has been in the information we are receiving. Now more than ever, it is imperative that we pay attention to who we are receiving our news from.
Here in America, shocking images of protest bordering on riot in favor of Hamas fill our screens. But not only that, we are seeing university professors and leaders refuse to take a stand against the annihilation of the Jewish people.
Even in our nation’s capital, Rshida Talib continues to spread lies about the bombardment of a hospital in Gaza. The truth is the Palestinians were the one who created the explosion near the hospital. She has refused to retract her statement even though the truth is evident, and the facts remain to show Israel is consistently doing everything they can to ensure civilians are not harmed.
I talked with retired General Amir Avivi last week, and he provided great insight into what Israel actually is doing in Palestine, their state of mind, and what we can expect to see in the coming weeks.
Yes it is true that our nation’s borders are open. However, if we’re not careful, we can let fear itself overtake us here in America. The borders do need to be closed, but more powerful than any physical wall is the faith of us who understand who the real enemy is. We must stand strong.
Continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and continue to live in faith knowing the God we serve is greater than any foe!
THIS WEEK ON FLASHPOINT
Hank Kunneman, Lance Wallnau, Rick Green and Russell Johnson will be joining me tonight as we discuss the latest from Israel, the Speaker of the House election and more. I will also share with you an interview with Victor Marx to get an update on his team’s efforts to help the children in Israel during this time.
PROGRAM NOTE: This Thursday, FlashPoint will air one hour early: 7E/6C. Dutch Sheets, Eric Metaxas and Kevin Sorbo are scheduled to join me to discuss the latest news. We’ll also hear about Sorbo’s new movie Miracle in East Texas, as well as his new book: The Test of Lionhood.
We heard from both new faces and old friends last week on FlashPoint. Tuesday, Lance joined us from from Vienna to share what he had learned about efforts to rescue Americans in Israel. Kari Lake returned to share current news and her insights regarding the border crisis.
Newcomers Joshua and Caleb Colson—the Bearded Bible Brothers—shared their experience being in Israel when the missile strikes began…and how they stayed in the streets to reassure people that they could trust in God. Hear why Caleb says, “The Lord is moving on the hearts of the Israeli people because they’ve seen how God has delivered them in times past during many wars—supernaturally—and, I believe, is going to do it again.”
I also shared my interview with EJ Kimball, the Director of Policy and Strategic Operations for U.S. Israel Education Association. Hear how he and Amir Avivi are in agreement over why the Hamas attacks were able to occur.
“For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.” — Matthew 18:20
Topics to pray over:
Protection for the civilians caught in the crossfire of the Israeli/Palestinian war
Deliverance for the hostages taken by Hamas
Protection for us here at home during these troubling times.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty Name of Jesus. We thank You that You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble. As this war is taking place between Israel and Palestine and each of their allies, we pray for innocent civilians caught in the crossfire. We pray Your protection over them, that they find refuge and shelter in You. Watch over them and help them to find a way of escape in this conflict. Nothing is impossible with You!
By faith, we send in angels to supernaturally guard and protect the hostages taken by Hamas. We know Your angels encamp around us; they also deliver us. We pray for miraculous deliverance today, Lord, for the hostages. Give them strength and ensure their safety, God, so they may come out on the other side of this dangerous situation in victory.
Finally, Lord, protect us here at home. We stand in unity, praying for the peace of Jerusalem. We take refuge under the shadow of Your wings. Give our lawmakers Your wisdom as to our nation’s role in this conflict. Guard our minds and hearts from fear. Help us not to worry, rather to put our full, unwavering trust in You for our families and our households. As for those of us in the FlashPoint Army, we will serve the Lord!
Join us as we close out the Truth and Freedom Tour in sunny Pasadena, Calif. We have a power-packed lineup; two nights and one day of information, inspiration and equipping; and it all starts Thursday, Nov. 30.
